Indian independent power producer (IPP), Azure Power Global Ltd, has completed the refinancing of its 600 MW solar photovoltaic project in Rajasthan for a total of INR23.5 billion (US$311 million). The financing package has a fixed interest rate of 7.2% per annum for 42 months.
The project is located in the city of Bikaner and has a peak capacity of 897 MW. It has started its commercial operation in December 2021 and has been connected to the Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) in India.
