Axpo, through its subsidiary Volkswind GmbH, is set to sell its 70.15 MW wind portfolio to EB Erneuerbare Energien Fonds Europa, a fund of EB – Sustainable Investment Management GmbH (EB-SIM), which in turn is a unit of Evangelische Bank (EB).
The four wind farms have a total installed capacity of 70.15 megawatts (MW) and generate an average production of 189,000 MWh of electricity per year, corresponding to the consumption of 40,000 households. The plants are located in the Picardie region in Northern France, in the central Hauts-de-France region near Paris, and in the Pays de la Loire region in Western France.
The parties have agreed not to disclose details regarding the sales price.
