Assam Power Distribution Co., Ltd. (APDCL) has issued two requests for proposals for the development of 100 MW of floating solar and 50 MW of ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) projects in the Indian state of Assam.
APDCL would award the solar farms through competitive bidding based on tariffs, followed by an auction in reverse. The respective ceiling tariffs are fixed at INR 4.76/kWh and INR 4.40/kWh. The company will acquire the generated power for a 25-year period.
The projects will be constructed according to the build-own-operate model.
The bid deadline for the projects is December 7, 2022.
