Jakson Group has started the commercial operation of a 70 MW Amgari solar photovoltaic plant located in the state of Assam in India.
Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) will buy the energy produced from the plant under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) executed between APDCL and Jakson Group. The project is expected to produce up to 130 GWh of energy per year.
