Statkraft has completed the construction of a 76 MWp Nellai solar power plant located in Tamil Nadu, India. The project is estimated to provide enough renewable energy to power more than 500,000 Indian homes annually. The solar power plant will create more than 120 GWh of renewable energy each year, based on an average of 300 days of sunshine.
The solar park was built by Belectric Photovoltaic India Pvt Ltd.
