Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Corp. Ltd. (MSEDCL) has awarded Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL), a renewable energy unit of Tata Group, a letter of award (LoA) for the development of the 150 MW solar photovoltaic project located in Solapur, Maharashtra, India.
The project was awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding followed by an e-Reverse auction. Under the power purchase agreement (PPA), the project will be commissioned within 18 months.
