Aretex Capital Partners has announced that it has invested in Building Energy 1 Holdings (Building Energy) through its inaugural fund. It has acquired a stake (% undisclosed) in the company from ZZ Capital.
Building Energy owns a power production portfolio of over 350 MW (operation and under construction) capacity. With an established presence in four continents, across four renewable energy technologies (wind, solar, biomass and hydro), and a proven track record of success, the company's development pipeline amounts to more than 1.5 GW, for which the development phase is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
Building Energy is the third investment for Aretex since its inception in 2018, enabling the latter to further expand in the fast-growing renewable energy industry.
