WFW advises WW on a €20m financing for its hydropower project

Watson Farley & Williams has served as an advisor for Werdenfelser Wasserkraft GmbH for the €20m (USD23.2126 m) financing by Bayern LB to its 10 MW hydropower project located in the Valle d’Aosta region, Italy. 

WFW team advised WW on the structuring, negotiation and drafting of all relevant contractual and financial documentation on the transaction. The team was led by Italy Practice Head Eugenio Tranchino and Counsel Luca Sfrecola, assisted by Trainee Giovanni Benedetto. In Hamburg, Banking & Finance Partner Thomas Hollenhorst advised on the German law aspects of the transaction, assisted by Senior Associate Dr Paul-Vincent Hahn.

Bayern LB were advised by Rödl & Partner.
