AMPYR Solar Europe, an affiliate of AMPYR Energy, has secured a EUR200 million (US$215 million) financing package from Rabobank to develop a 350 MWp solar photovoltaic project across Europe.
The first three sites will be developed in Echt-Susteren, Tinte, and Venray communities in the Netherlands. The construction of the projects is set to begin before the end of 2023, with target commissioning in Q1 2024.
This transition will facilitate AMPYR Solar Europe's ambition of becoming one of the continent's leading IPPs by allowing the company to construct its first Solar PV assets in the Netherlands following its creation in 2021.
