The government of Albania, through Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy (MIE), has confirmed that LM Energy Corporate seeks building permit for 50 MW solar park in Sheq Marinas, Topoja area, Fier region.
If the application will be approved, the project will be the 2nd large solar power in the country next to Akernia project.
In September 2017, LM Energy Corporate was registered at National Business Center. The company operates in design, implementation, and construction of solar power cells, electricity trade, and design, construction, and installation of power transmission lines.
The 100 MW solar project in Akerni, Vlora is still in negotiation. India Power Corporation Ltd has won the bid for the Euro 70 million for the project.
