Magna Energy seeks Albania's approval for 2 MW hydropower project construction

Albania's energy ministry has received an application for a small hydro power plant (HPP). 

Magna Energy has applied for the construction of a 2 MW facility located on a tributary of Drinos river in Albania's southern region of Gjirokastra.

Over 90% of Albania' electricity is produced from HPPs, most of it from three power plants along the Drin river.
