Acciona secures approval for 188 MW solar project in Kentucky
Spain’s Acciona SA has secured development approval from the Kentucky Siting Board for the development of the 188 MW Fleming County photovoltaic (PV) project.
The solar plant represents about US$200 million of investment in the state. E-commerce giant Amazon has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for the energy produced from the project.
Commissioning of the solar plant is expected to be achieved by 2022.
