Kyūshū Electric Power Company is a Japanese energy company that provides power to 7 prefectures, and recently, to some parts of Hiroshima Prefecture. Its shortened name of 九電 is sometimes used.
Kyushu Electric Power Company has supported customers' lives and contributed to community development through a stable electricity supply for more than 50 years since our establishment in 1951. The company projected that in near future, customers will be able to choose their energy sources more freely and the competition in the energy market will grow fiercer. They also recognize the increasing changes in society ranging from serious global environmental problems to change in lifestyle.
