Westbridge Renewable Energy Corporation has announced the addition to its growing portfolio in Canada, the 300 MWp Eastervale solar photovoltaic (PV) plus 200 MW/400 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) with a two-hour battery duration.
The Eastervale project, to be installed in the municipality of Provost, Alberta, is currently in stage 2 of the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) interconnection process and has long-term solar leases with private landowners. Environmental and wildlife field research is now conducted.
