WEC, MGE start commercial operation of the 150 MW Two Creeks solar project in Wisconsin

Madison Gas and Electric (MGE) and Wisconsin Public Service (WPS), a utility subsidiary of WEC Energy Group Inc, has started the commercial operation of the 150 MW Two Creeks solar park located in Manitowoc and Kewaunee counties, Wisconsin, USA

Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) owns the 100 MW capacity of the project, while MGE Energy Inc owns 50 MW.

The Two Creeks solar project was developed by NextEra Energy Resources, in partnership with MGE and WPS. The project features 500,000 PV panels located in the Town of Two Creeks and the City of Two Rivers, and capable to generate power to supply up to 33,000 homes.
