French renewable energy developer Voltalia has received an infrastructure debenture clearance from the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Brazil for its planned 99.4 MW wind projects in Bahia state.
The permit enables the developer to fast-track the implementation of the project based on the published decrees by the national energy regulator Aneel.
The EOL Canudos II and III wind projects, each with 49.7 MW capacity and 14 turbines are set to be commissioned by January 2022.
