Voltalia has commissioned the 49.9 MW South Farm solar project in the UK. Through a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) signed in 2020, the photovoltaic (PV) plant will provide 15 years of clean electricity to the City of London Corporation.
South Farm will generate enough electricity to meet the annual needs of approximately 35,000 people. This prevents the emission of roughly 20,000 tons of CO2. It will cover more than half of the city's electrical needs.
