Siemens to continue servicing Clyde Extension wind project for another 15 years

Siemens Gamesa has been contracted to continue servicing the 172.8 MW Clyde Extension wind farm project located in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, UK for another 15 years. 

Clyde Wind Farm (Scotland) Ltd, a partnership between SSE Renewables (50.1%), Greencoat UK Wind Holdco Limited (28.2%), and GLIL Corporate Holdings Ltd (21.7%), will operate the wind farm that has been operational since 2017. 

The project consists of 54 Siemens Gamesa’s 3.2-MW wind turbines.
