Vestas has been awarded a turbine supply contract by wpd AG for the development of two wind projects in Taiwan with a combined capacity of 21 MW.
The wind farms will be equipped with five V117-4.2 MW turbines installed on about 91.5 m towers. The contract includes a long-term Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000) service agreement for the wind farms to ensure optimized performance and long-term business case certainty for the customer.
Deliveries are expected to begin in Q3 of 2023, while commissioning is planned before the end of the same year.
