Vena Energy has obtained a JPY5.36 billion (US$39.18 million) green loan that is co-financed by Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank to develop the 17 MW Nihonmatsuka mi Nagaori Mega Solar Power Plant located in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.
The project will generate enough power for the consumption of about 4,000 local homes once in operation. Vena Energy targets to commission the project in 2023.
