K2 Management (K2M) has secured a contract to deliver technical advisory services for the 16.8 MW Goto floating wind project located in Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan.
The scope of work covers the pre-construction technical due diligence on all technical aspects of the project, risk mitigation with the use of floating wind technology, and the existing Japanese market.
The project is being proposed by a consortium of companies led by Toda Corporation which includes Eneos Corporation, Osaka Gas, Inpex Corporation, Kansai Electric Power, and Chubu Electric Power. The commissioning is expected to be achieved by 2024.
