Vedra Partners launches EUR1 billion HYCAP Fund I

Vedra Partners has launched its energy transition fund, HYCAP Fund I, which seeks to raise up to EUR1 billion (US$1.19 billion) in partnership with Wright Bus chair and entrepreneur Jo Bamford. 

HYCAP I is a Green Hydrogen Private Equity Fund that is focused on the Energy Transition. Hycap was set up in partnership with the Bamford Family (JCB Group) to invest across the Hydrogen value chain in the UK and Europe.

The Fund has initially been injected with EUR200 million (US$237.50 million) after the first round of investment.
