Carlto Power, through its subsidiary Trafford Green Hydrogen, has submitted a planning application to develop Manchester’s first hydrogen fuel hub.
Based at the Trafford Low Carbon Energy Park, the 200 MW hydrogen fuel hub is set to be the largest in the UK and will provide businesses in the Greater Manchester region with easy access to hydrogen fuel. This will support businesses that utilize hydrogen for transportation fleets or with heating requirements – both of which are low carbon.
Subject to the planning process and financing, the construction of the hydrogen hub is planned for 2022 with the commercial operation expected in 2023.
