Valorem has raised a full merchant debt financing from AIP Management, on behalf of AIP Infrastructure II, to fund the construction of its 148.5 MW Matkussaari onshore wind farm in Finland.
Matkussaari project has a planned total investment of EUR195 million (US$222.8 million). Located in the region of Ostrobothnia in Finland, the wind plant will host 27 wind turbines with unit power of 5.5 MW, supplying the equivalent of the electricity consumption of 60,000 households each year.
