Trianel Renewable Energies and ABO Wind have achieved commercial operation of the 33.6 MW Spreeau wind farm project located in Spreenhage, Brandenburg in Germany, after an 18-month construction period.
The project features eight Vestas V150 4.2MW turbines with rotor diameters of 244 meters and hub heights of almost 170 meters.
The wind farm can generate about 110 million kWh of electricity each year and offsets approximately 75,000 tons of CO2 annually.
