Transelec has signed two contracts for the construction and operation and maintenance of a transmission line that connects to Maintream's 156 MW Puelche Sur wind farm located in the communes of Frutillar and Puerto Octay, Los Lagos Region, Chile.
Transelec will build a transmission line approximately 12.8 km long with 42 towers.
The energy produced by the wind park will be transported to the future Frutillar Norte substation and to be injected into the National Electric System (the SEN).
The construction of the scheme will begin this March.
