Total Eren completes purchase of NovEnergia Holding Company (NHC)

French renewable independent power producer (IPP) Total Eren has completed the purchase of NovEnergia Holding Company (NHC), a southern European power firm, after the approval of all stakeholders and clearance from Portuguese regulators.

NHC has a diversified operating portfolio of 47 assets comprising wind, solar and mini-hydro plants installed in Portugal, Italy, France, Spain, Bulgaria, and Poland. About 70% of the assets are located in Portugal. Wind accounts for 78% of the total capacity, followed by solar with 17% and hydropower with 5%.
