Canary Islands approves 7 MW wind projects in Fuerteventura

The government of Canary Island the development of two wind projects with a combined capacity of 7 MW in the island of Fuerteventura. 

The projects involved are the 4.7-MW Fuerteventura Renovable I and the 2.3-MW Fuerteventura Renovable III located in the municipal district of La Oliva. 

The two facilities are eligible for subsidies that the government approved in January for the installation of new wind capacity on the islands.
