Foresight Group has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) deal with ArcelorMittal Energy for its two solar photovoltaic projects with a combined capacity of 10 MW.
The solar parks - Escalonilla Norte and the Escalonilla Sur, both with an individual capacity of 5 MW will be built in Toledo, Spain. The projects are expected to commence operation by the second quarter of 2019.
The deal with ArcelorMIttal is Foresight’s first corporate fixed-rate PPA in Spain.
