Foresight Solar Fund Ltd said that it sold a 50% stake in its 99 MW Lorca portfolio in Spain.
The transaction, valued at EUR26.9 million (USD 29 Million), involves the sale of a 50% stake in the Lorca solar farm portfolio. The Jersey-headquartered investment firm, specializing in solar panels and battery storage assets, confirmed that a Luxembourg-based subsidiary of Evangelische Bank acquired the stake, marking a 21% premium compared to its holding value in the third quarter.
The Lorca portfolio comprises the 30 MW Las Salinas, 49 MW Los Llanos, and 20 MW Los Picos solar farms, which Foresight had acquired 3 years ago.
