BayWa to build 18 MW wind project in Haute Vienne

German renewable energy developer BayWa AG will build its 18 MW wind project in the region of Haute Vienne, France.

The facility will consist of six Senvion 3.0M122 wind turbines that have a height to the tip of the blade of 200 metres (656 ft) making it the tallest turbines ever erected in French territory. 

Once completed, the project can generate about 50 GWh of energy per year enough to supply power for about 10,000 households.
