Commerz Real has acquired the Tout Vent wind farm in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region in western France, not far from the Bay of Biscay, from BayWa re for its Klimavest impact fund.
Tout Vent comprises six turbines from Nordex with a total nominal output of 18 megawatts. The planned annual energy production of around 59,300 megawatt-hours could cover the average annual consumption of more than 11,000 French households and thus avoid the emission of around 6,700 tons of greenhouse gas per year.
BayWa re had already secured state feed-in tariffs for 20 years. The company will also be responsible for the management of this wind farm in the future.
