Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), the government-controlled utility, has signed a large-scale solar photovoltaic power purchase agreement with special purpose company Sharp Ventures Solar Sdn Bhd of Sharp Ventures Sdn Bhd, to govern TNB planned to purchase electricity from Sharp Ventures Solar under a 21-year agreement.
Sharp Ventures Solar will design, build, own, operate, and maintain a photovoltaic solar power generation facility with an approved capacity of 50 megawatts of alternating current (MWac) in Klang, Selangor.
