Corio Generation and TotalEnergies have selected Technip Energies, in cooperation with Subsea 7 and Samkang M&T, to undertake a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for the 504 MW Ulsan Gray Whale 3 Offshore Windfarm project located off the east coast of South Korea.
The FEED contract includes engineering for the floater, mooring, and inter-array cable (IAC) in partnership with a supplier of wind turbines.
The floating foundation's design will incorporate Technip Energies' INO15 floater technology. INO15 technology is a three-column semi-submersible floater with a 15 MW capacity that is well-suited for large-scale series production.
