Indian solar company Tata Power Solar Systems Limited will build the largest utility-scale battery energy storage project (BESS) in India with its 120 MWh capacity to be realized with a 100 MW solar photovoltaic plant. The company has been issued a letter of award (LOA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the same.
As the EPC service provider of the facility, Tata Power Solar will design, engineer, supply, construct, erect and commission the capacity along with providing operation and maintenance (O&M) services.
