Azure Power has received the letter of award (LOA) for the 120 MW ISTS onshore wind project with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to supply power for 25 years at a tariff of INR 2.70 (US$3.6 cents) per kWh. It is the first wind project for the company.
The 10 MW wind project is part of the 1,200 MW ISTS Tranche – XI tender from SECI. The farm will be located in Karnataka, India. The construction works will take 18 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
