TagEnergy has begun operations at the 20 MW/40 MWh Hawkers Hill Energy Park near Shaftesbury in Dorset, England, following the completion of construction.
The GBP16 million (US$17.7 million) energy system has already distributed its first power to the grid. Santander UK supported the project's development with a funding package worth GBP6.4 million (US$7.1 million).
Hawkers Hill features a system of Tesla Megapack lithium-ion batteries and Tesla's Autobidder AI software for real-time trading and control.
