TagEnergy has acquired the 50 MW Pitkevy Battery Storage project from ILI Group. The energy system is located in Scotland and will connect to the grid in 2024. Financial information of the transaction was not disclosed.
ILI Group is constructing over 4 GW of energy storage projects in the UK, including 2.5 GW of pumped hydro and 1.9 GW of battery storage.
TagEnergy entered the UK renewables market in 2021 and now has 20 MW/40 MWh in operation, 50 MW/100 MWh under construction, and over 250 MW/500 MWh of ready-to-build projects, with a pipeline of development projects.
