SyntexNRG has signed an agreement with officials of Clarksville City, Arkansas, USA, for the plan to commence the construction of the 500 MW Syntex Hydrogen Power Plant. The project is aimed at reducing the state's carbon footprint and generating electricity through renewable energy sources.
The construction work on the Syntex Hydrogen Power Plant is set to start this year, as per the agreement signed. The project will be carried out in multiple phases, with at least limited power generation expected to begin by 2025.
The plant is expected to be fully operational by 2026 with more than 500 MW of generation capacity. The first 50 MW phase of the project is expected to require an initial investment of over US250 million.
