SUNOTEC has commissioned Bulgaria's largest solar power plant, the 123 MW Verila Solar Park project. The plant will supply green energy to telecom companies for the next 10 years under a power purchase agreement with Electrohold Trade.
Verila Solar, which spreads over 130 ha and includes approximately 222,000 photovoltaic panels, is capable of powering cities such as Kyustendil and Blagoevgrad on sunny days. The solar facility is located on Mount Verila's southern slope, close to Krainitsi village, near Dupnitsa in southwestern Bulgaria.
Founded in 2012, SUNOTEC operates all around the world and has delivered more than 400 utility turnkey solar photovoltaic plants.
