Soltec Power Holdings SA has obtained environmental permits for 401 MWp of solar projects in Spain, some of which were developed in collaboration with TotalEnergies SE. The capacity will be distributed over 16 solar farms in Murcia and Alicante.
TotalEnergies holds 65% of the special purpose vehicles (SPVs) in 352 MW of the projects, while Soltec owns 35%.
The projects' positive environmental impact assessments (EIAs) suggest 50 MW or more per solar farm or that the plants and infrastructure were built to span the Murcia-Alicante regional boundary. Spain's central government issues energy project EIAs and permits in this cases.
Acciona has commissioned the 125 MW Extremadura I, II, and III solar photovoltaic (PV) complex located in the town of Almendralejo, in the province of Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain.
