Soltec, a manufacturer and supplier of single-axis solar trackers in Brazil, is supplying and installing its Soltec SF7 bifacial trackers at a 475 MW project that the Enel Group’s renewable company Enel Green Power is building in Sao Gonçalo, Brasil.
The power plant occupies 892.5 hectares. The installation includes 13,728 Soltec SF7 bifacial solar trackers and 1,235,520 bifacial modules of 385 Wp each.
Soltec will hire more than 300 new local people during the installation phase and around 15 permanent personnel during operation and maintenance.
