Solaria is set to begin the construction works in Trillo in May, which will house the largest photovoltaic solar plant in Europe, with a capacity of 626 MW. The project is expected to be operational by the end of 2021.
The inauguration ceremony will take place on May 7, 2021, and will be attended by the authorities of the Community of Castilla La Mancha.
Putting the plants into operation will enable the supply of clean energy to more than 370,000 homes per year and will prevent the emission into the atmosphere of around 250,000 tons of CO2 per year.
