Spanish private equity and investment firm Kobus Partners has launched its third investment fund that seeks to focus on renewable energy projects and developments.
Kobus Renewable Energy III will focus on projects, which are in the final phase of development, under construction or in operation, both in photovoltaic and wind energy in Spain, Portugal, and Italy with the aim of building and operating a portfolio of 500 MW.
Throughout 2021, Kobus Partners aims to reach up to EUR150 million (US$181.20 million) of commitments for its new investment vehicle. Kobus Renewable Energy III has completed its first investment after closing the purchase of a solar PV project in Granada.
