Solar Philippines (SP) and its joint venture partner Medco Energi Inc. have signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), Indonesia's state-owned power provider, for a 50 megawatt solar farm in Bali.
The electricity supply agreement will last for 20 years. The solar farm will be split into two sections, one with a 25 MW installation in East Bali and the other with a 25 MW installation in West Bali.
Construction on the project is planned to begin next year.
