Siemens Gamesa and Eurowind Energy have signed a turbine supply agreement for the 48 MW Pecineaga wind project located about 40km from Constanta, Romania. The deal also covers a 20-year service agreement covering the maintenance of the turbines.
Siemens Gamesa will provide eight SG 6.6-170 turbines, to be mounted on 135-meter-tall towers. Project installation is anticipated in the second half of 2024.
