Photon Energy has started the construction of its 4.8 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) project located near Teiuș in Alba, Romania.
The facility consists of 8,700 high-efficiency bifacial solar modules mounted on single-axis trackers installed on about 10 ha of land. The project is expected to be operational before the end of 2022.
Once commissioned, the energy that will be produced will be sold to the energy market on a merchant basis through the grid of Distribuție Energie Electrică Romania.
