The energy ministry of Bosnia's Serb Republic has signed an agreement with Vjetroelektrana Grebak to increase the capacity of the planned Grebak wind farm project to 66 MW.
The original plan for the wind farm is to have a generating capacity of 49.5 MW from 15 turbines installed in the municipality of Nevesinje. The investment to the project is estimated to be BAM132.2 million (US$81 million). The contract with the Serb Republic mandates the concessionaire to pay a concession fee of BAM0.0055 (US$0.0033) per kilowatt.
The construction work for the expansion plan will be launched in the first week of December with expected completion by 2021.
