The Bosnia's Federation government has approved the planned US$72 million loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and German development bank Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) for the development of the Vlasic wind farm project.
The 48 MW wind project will be developed in the region of Travnik in central Bosnia. The facility will consist of 18 wind turbines that can generate up to an annual output of 115 GWh.
State-owned power utility Elektroprivreda BiH will build, equip, use, and maintain the wind project.
