Suzlon Group has been awarded a supply contract by the renewables unit of Sembcorp, Green Infra Wind Energy Ltd., for the development of the 50.4 MW wind project located in Karnataka, India.
The project will have 24 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers and a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each. Suzlon will supply the turbines and will conduct the construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance, and post-commissioning service.
